Keyboard Comparisonl

As the price of notebooks continues to fall, more and more people are buying notebooks instead of desktops. And after a while, you’ll get used to using that notebook keyboard with the trackpoint (or touchpad) and wish that someone made an external keyboard that was just like it.

Your days of wishing and searching are over! Lenovo has a ThinkPad Travel Keyboard that looks like they lifted the keyboard right off of a ThinkPad.

It has 87 keys, along with both the trackpoint and touchpad pointing devices so you can use the one that you like best. It also has 2 USB ports for connecting any USB peripherals.

It helps to save space on your desk, since you don’t need to have a mouse.

I haven’t seen any studies on this but I gotta think that it’s ergonomically better for you since you don’t have to keep taking your hand off the keyboard to use the mouse. And if you’re using the trackpoint, you don’t even need to take your hands off the keyboard. Just shift your hand to use the trackpoint.
